Jason has a world of experience and knowledge of the horse world. Like all the top horseman Jason started out as a young fella and stayed with it.
Along the way he met some of the great horsemen and women of the world, but perhaps none had influence in Jason's life and career more than that of Ray Hunt.
Jason spent many years on the road with Ray and Caroline on a continual learning curve which he applies to his professional career as a cutting horse trainer and horse breeder.
Jason married his lovely wife Rachel a few years ago to complete the team at JRL Stud.
Some of Jason's career highlights to date include the 2010 Tamarang Open Futurity Champion riding Windradeen Whiskey Cat and 4th place and 2010 Priefert Open classic ridnig Windradeen Black Label Cat (and that's just this years Futurity)!
Jason will be a member of the NCHA trainers hall of fame this year with earnings over $367,000.
At JRL, Jason and Rachel's focus is on quality and versatility. They are striving each year to breed better quality, better performers and better types than before. To produce a really great horse, they believe mare power is vital.
