The couple were last seen leaving Scone to sydney airport to meet family and friends in las Vegas for the wedding on the 26th of June. Sammi is from Lexington Kentucky and they saw Vegas as good middle ground.

Sammi and Ross met several years ago when Ross was desperate for a hair cut in Lexington KY, and of all the strip malls of all the towns Ross had to walk into was Sammi's. It was love at first site...(which was lucky because on second site after the hair cut Ross had lost some of his "mojo")... and for the next to weeks were spent on long walks through the Blue Grasses of Kentucky. Sammi came back to Australia with Ross and they have been on fire ever since.
