At the ABCRA National Finals Rodeo back in January, Goulburn Rodeo Committee was announced as the lucky recipients of the Priefert Timed Event Chute that had been used over the three rounds - The Committee’s response “Awesome”.

The team from Priefert was overwhelmed by the response from committees who had submitted applications – “It is great to see so many committees looking to improve their events - Priefert is proud to be associated with the ABCRA” commented Priefert Director John Maxwell.

Due to the success of this initiative, Priefert will once again partner up with the ABCRA to help grow and develop the sport of Rodeo in Australia. The custom built Timed Event Chute has been designed specifically for the ABCRA National Finals being held at the Australian Equine Livestock & Events Centre in January of 2010. At the completion of the Finals it will then be donated by Priefert and the ABCRA to a rodeo committee.

The winner will be the committee that has shown a physical and active attempt to build and promote rodeo in their community. Attempts, for example, could be the improvement or installation of safe facilities, improvement of conditions for livestock or perhaps the demonstration of hard work towards the development of a new committee. The committee who has been successful will be selected by the directors of Priefert and representatives of the ABCRA, with the official announcement to take place at the Finals.

Speed Williams, one of the great ropers of all time, 8-Time World Champion Header, Speed has qualified 13 times for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo……. these are just a few of the outstanding competitors who stand by Priefert equipment.
