PRIEFERT AUSTRALIA WINS EQUESTRIAN CENTRE CONTRACT

Placeholder ImageThree Aussie horsemen are behind the contract which will construct a major component of Australia’s largest equestrian facility at the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) Tamworth, NSW.

John Maxwell, Ross Lindeman and Michael Neville are the owners of Priefert Australia. With a combined 30 years experience in the horse and cattle sectors the trio launched Priefert Australia less than one year ago.

The young company won this, its first major contract, thanks to a cost-effective tender which guaranteed AELEC high quality yards and stock handling facilities with a speedy installation period.

“Although we are a young company the AELEC committee were impressed with our ability to guarantee fast installation times and quality products over such a large project,” spokesman John Maxwell said.

Priefert Australia will import all panels and stock handling equipment from its US-based parent company and will install the complex in just 10 days, helping the AELEC committee to stay on track for its mid-2008 completion date.

In total Priefert’s involvement includes:-
• Rodeo chutes and stock handling facilities
• Undercover stock holding yards and cattle working system
• 478-stable horse facility
• Campdraft yards and arena

John, Ross and Michael say that to win such a significant contract at such an early stage in the development of Priefert Australia means they will have the opportunity to prove the quality of their equipment to a national audience.

“The three of us are very familiar with the Priefert products, and we have always been very impressed with the quality and design. We decided that there may be an opening to introduce the range to Australia, and luckily the construction of the AELEC has provided the perfect opportunity,” Ross commented.

“We are delighted to have the chance to show what Priefert has to offer, and especially to be involved with such as prominent project as AELEC.”
