Richardson Eventing - Vantage Hill
The Richardson Eventing headquarters is now the well-appointed equine property Vantage Hill on Middlebrook Road in Scone where they also raise their two boys Oscar and Charlie.
The property has commanding views of the Hunter Valley and is adjacent to Scone Racecourse, which has excellent amenities including an equine swimming pool - an ideal location for Richardson Eventing to expand into pre-training, breaking and educating thoroughbred racehorses.
About Blair:
One of New Zealand's top juniors, Blair, who was raised in New Plymouth, won the New Zealand Young Rider Championship on a horse called Manhatten Blair's rise through the ranks ensured he was named captain of the British Young Rider team at the 1996 European Championships in Austria.
Named as a member of the New Zealand Development Squad for elite riders for several years, Blair continued to achieve at the highest level, particularly with veteran advanced horse Maximum Overkill.
Blair has his sights set on the 2012 London Olympics with Ngamatea Beer.
As well as a hectic competition schedule, Blair has been busy with clinics throughout NSW and Queensland in recent months—and when not riding, working in the round-yard or arena with young horses, or instructing, Blair is most likely to be found on the tractor at Vantage Hill!

Australian Olympian Nikki Richardson made an indelible impression with a swift rise to represent her country at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Now, the renowned horsewoman is again reaching for the stars with nascent talent Knightrider.
Born and bred in the Hunter Valley where her family are still based on a cattle property, Nikki Richardson's passion for riding had its genesis in her days at Merriwa Pony Club—and the personable young rider's talent and determination ensured she was among the youngest riders ever to represent her country at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games.
Nikki then went on to represent Australia at the Atlanta Olympics—an experience Nikki hopes to replicate in 2012 with Knightrider.
